[deutsch] „Neo Lectro“ (Neo_Lectro) ist das bekannteste Musikprojekt des vielseitigen Künstlers, Netzwerkers und Labelinhabers Martin Hollwitz. Seit Mitte der 1990er Jahre ist er völlig süchtig nach elektronischer Musik von Künstlern wie Aphex Twin, Daft Punk oder Jean-Michel Jarre. Sein Stil wurde schon früh von den Spielesounds seines Commodore Amiga 600 inspiriert. Offsets dieses 8-Bit-Sounds finden sich in vielen seiner Tracks. Als Teenager baute er selbst Synthesizer und Klanggeneratoren und sammelte eine Armada an technischem Musikequipment. Zeitungen berichteten über ihn, als er erst 14 Jahre alt war. Im Alter von 17 Jahren spielte er seinen ersten Auftritt im legendären Beat Club in Dessau. Kurz darauf folgten Auftritte im Global Village und Ferropolis. Von da an ging es elektronisch bergauf. Zu seinen Unterstützern gehörten Pioniere wie Magic Mayer (Bounce87/Harzfein), Bastian W (Leveltrauma), Chip Tronic (Stonedwave) und Albert Schweitzer (10/40). Neo ist Gründer von Crews und Labels wie freakmuzik (FM!network) und TALIS. Um die Crews zusammenzubringen, organisierte er Events und Festivals wie die Tekk Freakz Series und den Electronic Fight Club. Neo Lectro kreiert und veröffentlicht melodischen Techno und Electronica – und du kannst dir sicher sein, dass seine Meisterwerke immer emotional, verspielt und lebendig sind. [english] „Neo Lectro“ (Neo_Lectro) is the best known music project of the versatile artist, networker and label owner Martin Hollwitz. Since the mid-1990s he has been totally addicted to electronic music from artists such as Aphex Twin, Daft Punk or Jean-Michel Jarre. His style was inspired early on by the game sounds of his Commodore Amiga 600. Offsets of this 8-bit sound can be found in many of his tracks. As a teenager, he built self-made synthesizers and sound generators and collected an armada of technical music equipment. Newspapers reported him when he was only 14 years old.
